About Me

Hi!

I am currently an undergraduate student in the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur pursuing an integrated MS in Mathematics and Computing. Over the past years I have lived in West Bengal (suburbs of Kolkata), Madhya Pradesh (Indore) and Uttarakhand (Dehradoon).

My primary interest (professionally and otherwise) lies in coding. I have worked in C / C++, C#, Java, Python, PHP, SQL and some Ruby. I am currently involved in an Android based project. I use GNU/Linux as my operating system (specifically Arch Linux) and am a supporter of free (yeah, free as in free speech, not free as in free beer) software. In my spare time I try to read up about the Linux Kernel – I wish to submit my first patch in a few months.

Apart from computers I love listening to music (Pink Floyd, Beatles, Rammstein, Tarkan, Cheb Khaled), working out (around eight hours of kick-ass weight training a week) and coffee. I enjoy watching sitcoms, Seinfeld being my favorite.
